Philosophies
On the Chain of Command:
Ultimately somebody has to be responsible for the outcome of the battle, the leader. Whatever criteria is used to choose the leader, it is this individual who is accountable for any success or failure. In large raid groups the wise leader will delegate authority to officers. They are responsible for taking input from their team and formatting a battleplan.
